(AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL) 20 Berlinale films nominated for the Amnesty Film Award 2023

The jury will screen films from the Berlinale sections Competition, Berlinale Special, Encounters, Panorama, Forum, Perspektive Deutsches Kino and Generation.
The Amnesty Film Prize of the Berlinale will be awarded for the 18th time and is endowed with 5,000 euros. With this award, Amnesty honors the work of filmmakers who depict human rights issues in a special way and bring them to life. Previous award winners include: "Myanmar Diaries" by The Myanmar Film Collective (2022), "Welcome to Chechnya" by David France (2020), "Espero tua (re)volta" by Eliza Capai (2019). The winning film of the Amnesty International Film Awards will be announced on Saturday, February 25, 2023 during the Independent Jury Awards Ceremony.
